Event Inventory

Facilities Management has an inventory that can be used for event setups. These items can be booked through a Facilities work request and are available on a first-come, first served basis.

Note that some items are only available in certain areas.

Additional information

  • The following items are unavailable through Facilities Management inventory:
    • Linens and tablecloths. Please contact Scholar’s Catering or your catering provider to coordinate these items.
    • Tents for outdoor events. Departments are encouraged to rent from a third-party supplier or purchase their own UBC-branded tents.
  • Tables identified for use in specific buildings are not permitted to be moved outside or to other buildings.
  • We are not able to remove furniture in common areas (i.e. padded armchairs) for event setups.
  • Pinboards on wheels cannot be moved to upper or lower floors of buildings.
  • Items that are lost or damaged will be replaced at the borrower’s expense.
